How to Research Niche Market for your eBay Affiliate Business?

O.k. now that I told you what this business is all about in lesson 1, I am going to also tell you how to research niche market for your eBay Affiliate Business. Because this is very important! I made some mistakes on this, so I hope you don’t do the same. The mistake was with my first store, so at least I did not continue down that road. You see, you want to chose a market you know something about and where you can expand on. Now even if you do not know a lot about that market, you can do research, but of course it is better to know something about it.

Obviously you are going to promote physical products so you want to stay in the same category. It may be you are promoting baby category items, so stay with in that same category. If you are promoting cellular phones, stay in that category.

The main reason this is better is that it is just easier to promote and cross promote. If your blog is all about cell phones, you are going to have a lot of people visiting your blog and coming back to it. Because if you recommend your product to someone and that person is happy, they will come back to your blog. (I will explain more about this later on!)

Also, the choice of keywords you need to rank high for, it is easier if they are all in one niche for example. abc baby stroller, xyz baby stroller, ght baby stroller. That is why niche marketing works and is easier. The second benefit of staying in the same niche is that you can easily cross promote your products. Because a mom looking for baby stroller may be also looking for baby carrier, so if you had a store about baby carriers, you can cross promote.

So spend a day on this, because the research of niche market for your eBay Affiliate Business is the most important aspect.
